Interview Details – I applied online for a store 20 minutes away from me. I had a referral from an employee I had talked to, plus at the job I was with at the time was the mother of a girl that worked in the irving office. I applied on a Wednesday, got called in for a face to face interview in Irving for Friday, and then I got a call back on the following Wednesday saying that I got the job. The woman that interviewed me was very friendly and was interested in my background in the office of a grocery store. I made sure to ask a lot of questions as well. Before the interview I took the time to go to the store that I had applied to and look around so I'd have some good questions for the interview. She was surprised by how much I noticed and remember to ask about as far as certain fuctions worked in the store.

It was $11.75 for Night, Relief, and Swing managers when I started, but was recently reduced to $11.50 for anyone hired or promoted to that position after that. Co Managers make $13.50, and store managers make $50K salary, plus bonus for each position. Associates start at $9, no bonus.

Interview Details – I interviewed at the Store Support Center in Atlanta, GA. I thought the interview went rather well, but I never heard back about the position. There was finite number of people interviewing (less than five) so to not get a response left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never apply to a position with this company again based on that experience. After reading some of the reviews, I am clearing not missing anything.

No Offer – Interviewed in Grayson, GA – Reviewed Jan 29, 2013
Interview Details – The interview seemed simple enough, they were looking for a high-energy individual and I thought I met those standards, apparently not. The hiring manager was responsible for stores within about a 50 mile radius, and was inherently professional and nice. I honestly thought I was a shoe-in for this job. I suppose my assumption was inaccurate. The company since then went with a person I know well and they had less experience, less personality and were less professional than I. I have since boycotted the company in return.
Interview Question – The interviewer as many specifics about my previous job, paying attention to every detail. Answer Question

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA Dec 2011 – Reviewed Apr 10, 2012
Interview Details – The interview process was very straight forward and to the point. I applied online on a Thursday and the following Monday I received a phone call. By the following Thursday I had an interview. It was very thorough and in depth. I was asked a lot of questions that pertained to my leadership abilities and my previous management experience. It was a great Q&A. I was given the chance to ask many questions and the freedom to open the table up for dialogue.
Interview Question – What do you think a company owes its associates? View Answer
Negotiation Details – There really wasn't much negotiation because the offer was pretty great. The only thing I didn't realize was how sucky the benefits package was. If it had been presented I definitely would have negotiated those terms.
No Offer – Interviewed in New Port Richey, FL Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jan 15, 2012
Interview Details –
I had applied wit the company prior and was contacted by a recruiter, but unfortunately it was by email so I missed the interview. I tried again because they had another position opening up and I made the initiative to contact the location that was hiring and was informed that it goes straight through corporate (on to a recruiter). I waited the length of time that it took to make contact with the recruiter (1 week) and set up a face to face interview. I thought the interview on the phone went great, but was really disappointed at the 1 on 1 interview. I have piercings and wear them, the only time I take them off is for interviews and while I am on the clock at work. The lady kept asking me about my one lip ring and kept mentioning a background check as if I was some punk kid who hadn't had a job before or worked with the public. She never asked me where I would go with the company had an offer been extended, nor how I could benefit the company.
I felt as if I was being judged completely based on my looks and not my competency which is honestly a first! I felt as if she didn't care to interview me and that she was only trying to fill a quota. I had a bad experience and may never waste my time applying for this company again.
I got called back for a store walk-through (which shocked me) and I thought 'okay maybe I will get it' it's not as if ANY of the work I would be doing, I hadn't done before. I have worked at restaurants and a small convenience store before so I was completely able to do the jobs entailed. I didn't get a call back and before we left she mentioned a background check again and only looked at me!!! Seriously?!!! If a company needs a snooty little recruiter like that, I NEVER want to work there, nor shop there again. Will definitely never recommend this place for anything!
