Declined Offer – Interviewed in Aug 2011 – Reviewed Aug 15, 2011
Interview Details – I came into the store and gave the manager my cover letter and resume. He asked me to come in for an interview the next Monday and had me pick what time. I wore a suit and had a portfolio of my work with me. We sat in a disorganized back room on a ripped/rusted stool that you would use for trying on shoes if it was in good shape. He forgot to bring something to write on and had to find a pad of paper. At the end of the short interview he informed me that the position was not actually full-time as it was advertised on careerbuilder. I was only guaranteed 20hrs per week, I need at least a stable 40hrs per week to accept a position so I had to decline.
