Interviewed Mar 2009 in Chennai (India) (took 3 days)
Company wanted people from industry experience but was not aware of hierarchy of the industry.
They were too hopeful about the qualities they needed but were not positive in giving suitable designation. It was due to lack of industry knowledge that they were unable to gauge the potential and finally ended up with an offer that wasn't suitable to the responsibilities they spoke about. They offer almost nil negotiations and HR also gives fake promises during joining abt increments being given later which are baseless.
Overall though they want experts but don't pay like hiring an expert, moreover they dont have internal skill to judge the candidate's ability

Negotiation Details
pretty steep, they don't negotiate at all. HR might even make fake assurances which allure a candidate to join. Lot of hidden components in salary. Never heard of a company where employers contribution to PF is considered as an adding part to CTC !!

The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Presentation, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test, a Personality Test and a Background Check.
