Manager Interview

Manager
Trichy (India)

I applied through college or university - interviewed at Rancore Technologies in December 2010.

Interview Details – These people start out by conducting a simple IQ test consisting of 30 questions which take hardly 10 min to crack. After that they conduct a technical written round of multiple choice with around 30 questions relating Mobile Communications and Communication Theory and Signalling. They SHortlist the candidates for 2 rounds of interview, 1 Technical and 1 HR. In the Technical round, I was asked very basic questions pertaining to topics like BSC, MSC and Mobile Cell and definitions of Spread Spectrum, TDD, FDD and their differences and they were satisfied. After that the HR interview was pretty much gauging you if you can adjust in a new environment and capable of handling responsibility. Post these 2 rounds, they have the Compensation discussion.

Interview Question – No difficult question asked. All basic concepts were tested.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – They pretty much stated a figure and they were not ready to negotiate and were fixed with their figure. Pretty much one sided.
