Interviewed Jul 2011 in Glen Mills, PA (took 1+ week)
The process was fairly quick but very comprehensive. Three phone interviews, a few on line tests an personality reviews followed by two 1:1 interviews. At the second 1:1 interview i had to do about an hour of testing on their computer in a closet. Not the best first impression but I made it through fine. The offer came fairly quickly and the negotiation was straight forward and pleasant. The corporate recruiter was great and answered any question I had. I act

Interviewed Apr 2012 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
They called me to do a phone interview which just consisted of simple questions such as tell me about yourself, why do you want to do recruiting, do you have prior experience that relates to this job. They were supposed to follow up with me but no one got back to me and there was no contact information about the sf office available so I just decided not to continue on with this company.

Getting a job with these folks is super easy, you just need to show up on time. They don't really interview you, they just hand you the application, and ask you if a certain pay rate is ok. They don't drug test, they don't do skillstests, or anything strange or oddball. basically, they just want warm bodies to fill positions for ridiculously easy braindead work, which is why you will have such an easy time working. They do not offer any type of advancement, and I would be leery of their health benefits, which you could get stuck paying if the assignment ends. (which it will sooner than you think!)

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Westerville, OH (took a day)
I had an appointment and a great phone screen with the agent. She never reviewed my resume but she stated that we would discuss my resume during the in-person interview. Once I arrived, the tone changed drastically from being polite and up beat (the recruiter's initial tone over the phone), to one syllable answers. I can only attribute this to the fact that I am a person of color, and who the recruiter thought I was on the phone was not who she expected in person. She did not look me in the eye when she spoke to me, and she never reviewed my resume or even briefly interviewed me to see if there were any temporary opportunities that would match my skill set. Before the interview, I looked online and knew a few positions were available that I could be considered for. She rushed through the mandatory paperwork and told me that if something opens up she will get back to me. She has never contacted me to say the least. By the next Monday, I even reached out to ask if there were any assignments that would fit my background, since officially I am an available temporary employee of Randstad, and she became a little irritated with me following up, and stated to me, "If we have anything, I'll call you". It has been three weeks. I never called back again, and as expected, she has never called me again. I never knew Randstad recruiters had issues with diversity. I guess there is a first time for everything.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 4 weeks)
A recruiter called me regarding my online resume. After the initial interview I was told I HAD to pass the IQ test before we could proceed. I took the tests and was told I passed. I then moved onto a phone interview with the regional manager. After that I had several face to face interviews with a variety of managers. This all took place over several weeks. I then was instructed to take additional tests. After passing those tests the recruiter said he was waiting for me to interview with one more manager. After that I never heard from anyone in the company again. I called and left emails with no response. After commiting so many weeks and given information that I was going to be placed in one of several positions I think the company is unprofessional in not at least advising that they went in another direction with a candidate. I never got an answer and was left hanging as to whether or not they were going to hire me.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Norcross, GA (took 3 weeks)
Got a call to come in for an interview, short phone screen;
interviewed in person with recruiting manager and sales manager on the team I would be working on (group interview);
came back to interview a second time with recruiting manager on the team I would be working on, a different recruiting manager, the sales manager on the team I would be working on, a recruiter on the team I would be working on, and the VP of recruiting (1:1 interviews)
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I received an opportunity to leave recruiting and pursue a career in the path I got my degree for, so I accepted the other offer. I was very impressed with Randstad the entire process, and if I was still recruiting, I would've accepted their offer hands down. Great people and atmosphere.
