Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 months)
Very detailed and long interview process... Conducted 3 phone interviews, and than had 2 inperson interviews. It took them about a month and a half for them to finally give me an answer. The office environment is very relaxed and laid back, however this job is a sales job and if you are not meeting goals you will be coached, and if no improvement you will be canned. Great entry level job, but very difficult to make a career

Negotiation Details
Yes, I was able to bump my salary up by a very minimum amount. I would certainly try to negotiate, if they make you an offer you know they want you, so you have nothing to lose other than them saying no.

The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Personality Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
6 interviews, no offer... no feedback... form rejection letter sent.
1st interview was a phone screen where they described the position and asked questions about why you were interested in the company, 2nd interview was a phone interview within the same week where the admissions director asked some questions pertaining to your interests and background, 3rd interview was an in person interview was a meet and greet, a tour of the school, and a look at the systems, 4th interview was with the campus director... behavioral questions, 5th interview with the Campus VP, intense questions about marketing experience, and 6th interview with the Regional VP, comprehensive interview questions of plans in the next 5 years. All took place at different times and were followed up by a phone call from the phone screener.
Environment seems friendly and inviting and so many people are interested in your background and how you discovered the available position.
An extensive background check is conducted after the 5th interview where they review criminal background, credit rating, school history, job history, and DMV records. A copy is provided if requested.

The interview itself went just fine. I spent about an hour with the two senior systems engineers and we went over my job history, projects, their environment, etc. We got on great and I fully expected an offer.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Green Bay, WI (took 3 weeks)
My entire interview experience with Rasmussen was very positive. They informed me up front that the process is 5-6 interviews, and a combination of both phone interviews and in-person interviews.
My first interview was at an employment fair, where I was general questions regarding my skills and abilities, with questions asking for past examples of times when I demonstrated these skills and abilities. My second interview was a phone interview with HR that mostly consisted of basic questions, such as my authorization to work in the US. My third interview was in-person, where I met with three people.
All interviews gave me the opportunity to ask questions about the company. The emphasis from the start has been on the fit for both parties. Overall a very positive experience.
