Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Saint Petersburg, FL Jun 2012 – Reviewed Mar 9, 2013
Interview Details – They called me to tell me about the opportunity and discuss whether I would be interested. I went to their office for one interview. It was very informal. Seems like they had already decided from the resume that they wanted to hire me. The pay offered was more than fair (more than I'd expected). They just asked a few very simple questions about myself/my interests. I got a tour of the building and an overview of the process.

Interview Details – Received HR phone interview where they just wanted to see if I had any interest in the position. Then, it was a technical interview over the phone with OOP concepts and basic programming codes. Finally, got the office visit which starts with a sort of a technical test in the morning and interview with two senior managers which were behavioral. The people at the firm are really nice and made me feel very comfortable.
Interview Question – Lot of SDLC questions in the office visit computarized test gave me a tough time !! Answer Question

Interview Details –
I had a phone interview with HR which included many behavioral questions. I also received an email to complete a personality test at this time.
Nearly a week later I received a call to schedule on site interview.
The second interview with the hiring manager went well and included both behavioral questions and explanations of my experience.
Immediately after the onsite interview I received another call from HR to come back in for an accounting battery and another round of interviews. The third round of interviews was much more technical. I was told multiple times they planned to make their decision within a few days but I never heard back from anyone at the company.

Waited 2 weeks then received automated email from HR that they have other qualified candidate for the position. I asked that hiring manager during my phone interview before they flew me to the headquarters if she found anything during our interview or from my qualifications that will hinder you from hiring me? Answer by manager: NO

Interview Details – To get hired as a 1099 employee at a branch of Raymond James financial you just need to find a Branch Manager in your area who wants to add an employee. If you generate less than $250,000 in production beware because they really don't want the hassle of small producers. But, they will take you on and charge you rent, salaries, and hope to get your book when you leave.
Negotiation Details – It all depends on the Branch Manager. I never met a Branch Manager at RJFS who was not very arrogant.

Interview Details – I applied online for several positions and then the next day I was sent an email from HR to complete a behavioral/personality test online. After completing the online portion, later that week I was asked to come in and do a 1:1 interview with a higher up in the department. I was then asked a week later to come in and do some numeric/verbal testing. I was then notified several days later that I had not been chosen for the position. Overall, my interview experience was great and simple.
Interview Question – Tell me about a good/bad decision that you have made in the past and the process you went through in making that decision. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Saint Petersburg, FL Mar 2009 – Reviewed Apr 12, 2011
Interview Details – Typical Careers website posting for positions. If you meet the criteria you will be contacted by a recruiter to come in and do a basic mathematical assessment and initial interview with the HR Rep. RJ is pretty good about letting you know they're interested (in which case you'll be called by the HR Rep to come in for a follow-up interview with the hiring manager(s) and/or their leads) or you'll receive a rejection email (not always timely). This firm is probably the most comfortable environment I've worked in since starting my work experience.
Negotiation Details – It was 2009 there wasn't any room for negotiation.
No Offer – Interviewed in Saint Petersburg, FL Mar 2010 – Reviewed Jul 27, 2010
Interview Details – The hiring process was slow, maybe they had a lot of candidates. The process started with an online personality test, then a phone interview, several on site timed skills test and eventually an interview with two of the hiring managers. Eventually I was notified by email that I was not selected. Maybe it was something I said during the interview or maybe some thing in my back ground check that disqualified me. I wish I knew.
