I was already an employee. People are more interested in how you think, versus what you actually know.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Aurora, CO (took 2 weeks)
Applied online for a req in October and it wasn't until March the following year when they called. They immediately moved to fly me to Aurora for a person to person interview. Went through several rounds involving usually one or two people at a time. None of the questions were particularly technical and more along the lines of querying me on my background. Everything seemed positive at the time. So after nearly two weeks of nothing after the trip, I contacted the recruiter. I was told 4 weeks and I'll hear something back from her. After hearing nothing, I contacted her again. This time I was told effectively another month and a half due to some "roll off". Contacted after another 2 months and nothing back.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Aurora, CO (took a day)
Currently employed at a Raytheon competitior
Applied through Rayjobs.com
Contacted by recruiter expressing interest in interviewing me 3 days later who left message on voicemail
Took 3 weeks for them to return my calls and set up an interview date.
On interview day, all interviews were conducted at what appears to be HR offices where the hiring manager(s) visit. Interviewers were Sr. Staff Engineers / Front Line Managers with years of applicable engineering experiance. Questions varied from technical accument to experiance in similar jobs. Questions were professional and experianced, none of the "on-the-spot thinking" games I play when I interview candidates.
Their parking lot had a lot of hybrids. This concerns me since the environmentally consious engineers I work with currently are split about 50/50 diesels/hybrids. I saw 1 diesel car in their parking lot and it wasn't in their preferred "High Efficiency/Carpool" parking. From driving around in their parking lot I saw a lot of new cars (more than where I'm at now) which seemed superficial to me.
Overall positive interview, and I would accept an offer from them for the right opportunity/compensation plan. I've known many former employees who speak highly of their experiance at Raytheon.

Interviewed Jan 2007 in Aurora, CO (took 6+ weeks)
HR initiated the contact with me. They did the background check first, then arranged the interview. The company leans heavily on certifications because they support public government sites, and the government likes industry certifications.
The company has a generous support program for employee's further education. However, where I was, the company did not make use of inexpensive automated tools, to lighten the workload for employees so they would have enough energy to take school after work.
Interview Questions
Current certifications were most important for this position.
Negotiation Details
There was no room for negotiation. HR stated the salary prior to the interview.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
