I applied online. I interviewed at RTX (El Segundo, CA)
Interview
The interview process was very unprofessional in my opinion. The recruiter asked me if I was interested in a particular position after I had an interview with the company that went well. For the next two months, the recruiters communicated with me about setting up another interview that never happened.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RTX
Interview
Interviewed with multiple teams of people, each team in a group setting. Interviewers asked basic background questions to determine technical competency and to assess how well my personality fit with the rest of the team. The interview was a full day event but wasn't overly stressful. There were no off the wall questions that had nothing to do with the job.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Jul 2015
Interview
The recruiter got in touch with me about a week after I submitted my application, and I subsequently visited the company offices for a full day of interviews with the team of the division to which I applied. The technical interviews were only about the experiences I listed in my resume. I also received an overview of the company and a tour of the facilities. I was notified of the results of the interview within a few days. Overall, I was disappointed not to be given an offer, but the interviews were a positive experience.

Question 1
The phone interview was non-technical. The on-site interviews included a non-technical "behavioral" portion but otherwise involved technical discussions about my previous work and its relevance to the company.
