Interviewed Jun 2010 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
Great interview, they said they were going to bring me in, but there wasn't any follow up. As a contractor, this happens sometimes. Everybody was really friendly and positive, the problem was there didn't seem to be follow-through. The process involved: (a) contact from recruiter, (b) eventually a phone interview, (c) nothing.

the interview was great, it went real well and you just gotta prepare prepare prepare!!!!!!!
Its def a harder interview with lots of questions about yourself and skills but it shouldn't be hard if you know what your good at and just be natural and yourself.... understand that not only are they interviewing you to see if your skills qualify you for the work but also if the people you'll be working with will enjoy working with you on a day to day basis, they want to find a good personality match ... in addition to all the necessary skill sets required for the job position.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 3 weeks)
Casual. Asked alot of behaviorial questions. The interviews seemed stressed out. They delayed the decision until the original contract was half over. But did keep in touch. They seemed desperate and offered what I asked for.

Reason for Declining
The boilerplate contract contained a surprising clause that is highly unfavorable to the worker should the freelancing position be reclassified. You'd have to be desperate to sign it.

The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
It was a little different because I went in as a freelancer first. So It was easier being in, than if you were starting fresh. There weren't any specific questions as much as evaluating you based on your creative work. Creative jobs are a little different from other positions. The hardest part was the negotiation process. It was a nightmare.

Terrible! The recruiter person was so lame. He wouldn't say the salary nor the benefits and it went back and forth for about 3-4 weeks.

The interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

simple process: after i got the attention of the HR person, we discussed the hows of getting a job there: a phone interview with a hiring manger, another interview with a related manager and an in-person series of interviews with multiple people (some of whom i'd already met on the phone).

Interviewed Jan 2007 in New York, NY (took 3 weeks)
The HR group was organized and very helpful, particularly the recruiter who led me through the process. I appreciated the prompt phone follow-up after interviews, and detailed information about what to expect within the interview itself.
I had one phone interview as well as a half-day on-site interview. The half-day consisted of meeting with five senior team members for at least 30 minutes each, as a "case interview." The case interview presented a digital business problem and required me to come up with a strategic solution. I was given about 30 minutes to write a presentation on blank Powerpoint slides and then present/defend the solution to two team members posing as clients.
Success factors for the interview: knowledge of economic and strategic business factors affecting online businesses, poise under fire, understanding of the online environment and understanding of what makes successful web products from the user perspective.
I interviewed for the position on Wednesday morning and received a verbal offer by Thursday evening.

I gave some guidance about what kind of salary I was looking for, on the afternoon before I received the offer. The company arrived about 10K higher than that, and I accepted.
