Interviewed Jan 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 days)
Recruiter found me on job website and pursued me. We talked briefly on the phone, then
she set up formal interview for later in week. It lasted over an hour on speakerphone with
a new recruiter listening as well. Basic questions, but also at length which prompted the
hour plus time of conversation.
It was left that she would send the info on the company for me to study at length and
meet with local manager within a few days.
This was emailed to me, I studied intensely for several hours over the weekend..and
NEVER got another call. I was promised a followup call via email..but nothing...oh and
then the office was close for days due to the storm there in Texas.
What a waste of my time, I have been in sales almost 20 years and worked many of
those years in print, TV and ad agencies...what an insult. Why do recruiters do this? Then
never followup?????
Have another friend in radio who went thru a similar experience...move on when
they call they are in sales too....make piranhas look bad..
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Plano, TX (took 1 week)
The recruiter contacted me and we had an informal information session then. She called a couple of days later for a phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes. I then came in for an in-person interview two days later. I met with 3 managers at separate times. The whole in-person process took about 1 1/2 hours.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Woodland Hills, CA (took 1 week)
Pretty standard routine of phone screen then 2 days of 1 on 1 interviews with team members. Team members were nice chaps, but, not very competent. I was asked several questions in which the interviewer was either unsure of the correct answer or just didn't know it. The whole experience was totally unprofessional from the corporate recruiter to the interviewers.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 2 weeks)
You will be contacted by a recruiter. The company's co-founder was a former recruiter, and they are salespeople. They will tell you how much their top 10% make. I am a great salesperson, and I wasn't even close. They will sell you on the company. They are professional salespeople, so don't buy their crap.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Portland, OR (took 2 days)
Really impressed with the Recruiter, that I dealt with. He is a recruiter hired exclusively by Reach Local. Telephone interview, application, then you filled out a word document addressing questions, such as areas you think you need improvement in, as a Sales Professional. If you get past this screen, you will be interviewed by local manager...if you get past this step...you will be phone interviewed by Vice President...from there...you will either be contacted back with a form letter of rejection...or a phone call , telling you to come in and review a formal offer.

Interviewed Apr 2008 (took 3 weeks)
It involved being contacted by a recruiter, had a few phone interviews (the kind that seem like they're 1:1 but have people listening in) and went in for I believe 3 long in-person interviews.

Negotiation Details
negotiated slightly on salary. i would advise others to do the same, as established sales reps there have a base salary of around $50k on top of 11% monthly commissions if their #'s are right. so they can make easily around $160k per year.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Skills Test, a Personality Test and a Background Check.

Two phone interviews. HR person wasn't the brightest and seemed like she was reading from a manual. Made company seem very generic. After two conversations I did NOT want to work for this company.

Great company to work for. Recruitment department prepares you fully for the interviews. I made it through everything until the final phone interview where we role played. He gave me multiple objections and I choked a bit. Be prepared to know the Space of the product, good questions to ask, and to role play by overcoming objections well.
