Interviewed Jan 2011 in Parsippany, NJ (took a day)
Standard brand management interview. They were one of the few companies that actually wanted to know specific opinions about their own products (as opposed to other companies who wanted to just test general marketing knowledge). They wanted to know past experiences in cross-functional teams, analytical, innovation, handle conflict, etc. Nothing surprising.

Interviewed May 2010 (took a day)
I applied online, and then was told that my application was successful in progressing to the next round. The second stage was an online numerical reasoning test which I passed, then moved on to phone interview, was very brief lasted around 15 min and asked pretty common questions - Why do you want to work in sales and marketing? Why RB? What's your greatest achievement? What do you think the role entails?

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Parsippany, NJ (took 2+ weeks)
First thing I did when I got contacted by a recruiter about the opportunity at Reckitt Benckiser USA was to go to Glassdoor.com and read reviews on the company, which were not stellar to begin with. Then I looked at my current company and said to myself, it must be the people who did not find their fit with RB's culture; we have those too, as any other company would. So, I decided to interview with them anyway.
Long story short, THANK GOD I did not get the offer. From the first moment of my interaction with the company everything that could go wrong did go wrong. As one reviewer of RB said in his/her post, they (RB) seem to be flying by the seat of their pants - well, it's worth than that, actually. If I had two words to describe that culture it would be: "COMPLETELY DISORGANISED".
I myself work for a CPG company and have done quite a few interviews with different organizations in the past. This was the first time I came across such unprofessionalism starting from the fact I never heard a word from HR… to very low flexibility and some ridiculous interview hours/schedules.
As I was going through the process, I thought I was exaggerating, so I contacted a few of my friends who also work in various CPGs – well, they were as shocked by my stories as I was myself.
Bottom line: If that’s how they treat their candidates I can only imagine what’s going on the inside once you become their employee. Or maybe, it’s the opposite – they treat you like royalty… but then that would be inconsistent with most reviews out there…

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Hillsborough, NJ (took 2 days)
It was an internship position and they called after 2 weeks of applying for the position. Initial round was HR with the plant HR manager and was mostly resume based and behavioral. Couple of questions were 1. Tell me how you facilitated a change in your previous job? 2. Describe a very stressful situation at work and how did you handle it?
The second round was with the Plant Manager and he asked a lot more into technical questions. One of his questions was 1. Do you think Lean Six Sigma is a very practical solution for improving productivity and tell me an instance of using Six Sigma 2.He then asked me about one particular project that I had done on implementing a 'Pull based system'/
