Red Frog Events Event Producer Internship Interview Questions & Reviews

BEWARE! I came across Red Frog after googling event companies. From the looks of the website, it seemed like a great work environment where the employer really valued his employees so I submitted my resume for an internship. A week later an HR employee called me to conduct a phone interview and later that day I was called and told they really liked me and wanted to bring me in for an in-person interview, so I schedule a plane ticket and flew in from out-of-state.

At the in-person interview I was given a 20 minute tour of the facility and then a 40 minute interview with three Red Frog employees. I was told how "lucky" I was to be selected for this in-person interview since they receive "2,000 resumes a week." After the interview, which seemed very promising, I sent an email to the three employees who interviewed me. Three days later I received an extremely generic "Dear Candidate" email stating they selected someone else. I was in complete shock. For a company that tauts how much they value their workers, they displayed complete unprofessionalism by sending me a generic email after I flew in from out of state and invested my time and money into this company. After reading previous reviews on Glassdoor, it seems they have done this to many people. If chosen for an in-person interview, I would be VERY cautious as it seems they don't actually value the candidates they bring in.
