Interviewed Jan 2012 in Little Rock, AR (took 2 weeks)
Applied online 6 months ago took teller test. According to recruiter test stays on file forever, until they get a new test to use. I went back and applied for the BSL position and three other positions and got a call a week later, about the BSL, recruiter called to set up interview, interviewed with bank manager the next day (and asst. mgr, although she was in and out), then met with Community Market Manager (CMM) three days after that. While in the interview CMM asked me about a Bank Manager( BM) position, since I had prior experience as a Bank Manager. She called the recruiter who called me within two hours of leaving my interview to setup the test. Passed the test, recruiter called to make offer for BM position, accepted offer.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 weeks)
The interview was brief: 30 min or less, with only the manager.
She asked general questions:
what are the other banks you worked like?
do you do group huddles/morning meetings at your current location?
are you passive or aggressive?
are you ok with saying no to a customer?
I was not offered the FSS position, due to lack of loan experience. But offered a teller position. And hopefully from there I can cross train.

Negotiation Details
I was able to negotiate salary based off what I was currently making and they matched it.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Pensacola, FL (took 3 days)
Intial communication was great, one on one went well. The group interview was the best, management was direct and inquired aboutvery specific answers, all HR reps and management personnel were professional and friendly. Advise to others: be friendly, open and detailed, never generalize experiences or example situations. Come prepared to discussed past employment experiences, your strenghts and weaknesses. Do not pretent to be all knowing or pretend like you were made for the position, they will press further to expose you. Sales experiences are well recomended for any postion in there call center.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 3 months)
It took quite a while between me submitting my application and receiving my initial phone call. The recruiter is amazingly nice. Honestly, my initial face to face interview was not my best on my part but she seemed to be kind enough to work with me. I then interviewed with 2 different branch managers in two separate interviews. A couple days after that last interview, the recruiter called an made an offer.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Birmingham, AL (took 2 weeks)
The process seemed really positive at first. I interviewed for two positions at once, so it was a panel interview. I appreciated the fact that they conducted two interviews simultaneously to make the process less time consuming. I knew I was a good fit for the collections position and was happy to get a second interview. In fact, a colleague put in a good word for me. However, this is when things changed. First, they rescheduled my interviewed just a few hours before the interview. I was not very happy as I had a to reschedule my babysitter. Then, when I got to the second interview, only one person of the entire panel showed up. It was around the holidays but I still felt that, on top of the last minute rescheduling, this was not boding well. Nonetheless, I put my best foot forward. At some point in the interview, the interviewer seemed to change her mind about me. I could not put my finger on the problem as none of the questions seemed that difficult. So I am not sure what happened. Regions seemed to be a very nice place to work and provide people with a good chance to move up. I don't know if my experience was common or just a fluke.

Negotiate a decent salary coming in because promotions are slow and merit raises are small. If you are at officer, make sure to come in as an officer.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took 2 weeks)
First you have to be sign up to be tested on your customer service and math skills. When you take the test, the math questions go past quickly so you should write the numbers as they are given to you. If you pass the skills test, you are called for an interview. If you pass that interview, you meet with the branch manager and have to pass another interview. If selected, you have to pass a background/drug test.
