Interviewed Aug 2010 in New York, NY (took 3 days)
I applied online one month prior and got a call from the manager to come in. I got interviewed by the assistant manager. He basically just asked about my experience, my job history and he liked my personality so much he skipped the "tough" questions and sent me to the computer to take an hour long test which included math, english and personality questions. He then sent me to speak to the manager who told me that i would get the results in a couple days and since the assistant manager liked me so much he doesn't feel the need to interview me. I got a call from the manager two days later saying I passed the test and he told me to come so I can take a drug test. The district manger was there when i got there, he asked me a few questions and told me he liked my personality and said i'm hired pending the results from the drug and background check.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 1 week)
The first contact was via phone for some general questions about resume and skills. Second call is for face to face interview with district manager (about 1 hour). If you pass this you interview with the reginal manager which is at least an hour and about the same questions are asked. If you passed the 3 interview then there is a drug and background test and a observation day at a store and a quick call from the big boss in texas.

Interviewed Jun 2009 (took a day)
Asked to take a computerized test, and then straight to a 3:1 interview. After answering all of their questions to the best of my abilities, they said they would be in touch after finishing the rest of the interviews. They were very nice and polite, however, I really think they were looking for experience, which I did not have at the time.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Sioux City, IA (took 2 days)
I was asked numerous questions on workplace ethics, other co-workers, team efforts, past experience, etc. I also had to come in and take an aptitude test online with the company. Waiting for results on that, so the process can begin for me to take a drug test and whatever else that may be needed. So far the interview process is what I expected and the manager is very professional in his interviewing and the step-by-step process..directing me along the way as to what I can expect from the company and what they expect in return from their employees. Sounds like it could take about 2 weeks for the entire process to be done, but he has noted that there have been times when it has taken longer. I am eagerly awaiting the next step, as this sounds like a great opportunity for me, by means of advancing my career and learning more about the company as I go.

Negotiation Details
I accepted the offer to come in at an entry level position, although I have extensive experience at my previous jobs. I do not, however, have experience with this company, so I had nothing to offer besides previous experience at my past jobs. That being said, it does look like the company is interested in me working quickly up the ladder, as their hopes are to get me into a management position, as soon as possible. My advice is to be prepared when you go to interview and be totally honest. Do not say you can do something and when hired, turn around and say you won't do it or you have no experience. Causing the employer to doubt whether they have made the right choice on hiring someone for the job, only turns out to be a waste of time for them and it makes you look bad.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took 2 days)
The DM called me while I was at my present job. He spoke of the opportunities that RAC provided and the unlimited potential for growth. The interview process was a breeze. The expectations of the position were fully explained and a 4 hour orientation was also part of the process.
