Interviewed Feb 2010 in Waterloo, ON (Canada) (took a day)
Initially I talked with the recruiter on campus who came to our university to promote RIM. I spent about 30 minutes with that recruiter and we went over some of the positions available at that time. After she went back to Waterloo, I received an invitation for a phone interview later.
The phone interview was conducted by both the technical lead and the team lead. The person asking those questions were the technical lead. After I passed the phone interview, I was asked to write a short skill test exam which involved two questions.
One of the questions was to write a linked list class in C# or C++ with the standard operations such as insertion and deletion of a node.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Mississauga, ON (Canada) (took a day)
The people I interviewed with did a good job in making you feel comfortable. There was a good amount of small talk, and they asked job related questions like Java processes and threads. They helped me out when I was stuck, and also responded with appropriate feedback as I answered technical questions.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Sunrise, FL (took 2 weeks)
I applied for a co-op positing during my senior year. I got a call about scheduling a phone interview and then I was interviewed by 4 people on the specific day of the interview. They called me and the interview lasted for almost 45 minutes. The interview was not hard. If you know your resume well then you should be fine. I was only asked questions from the resume about school projects, no other technical questions. The people who interviewed me were really nice, so I got lucky there. I was offered the co-op position after one week of the phone interview. They do not require on site interview for students.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Sunrise, FL (took 3 days)
I applied online and the hiring manager mailed me asking for a date. I replied with the date and the manager was actually busy on that date, so he wanted to have the interview before that date and he mailed me. I was okay with it. It was a good interview with some technical and project based questions.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Dallas, TX (took 1+ week)
I applied on the RIM website and was contacted a few days later by one of their recruiters and set up a phone interview. Phone interview consisted of a brief overview of my resume and previous expirience with a few situational questions. At the end of the interview I asked about more details of the position since the posting was vauge.. recruiter didn't know any specifics. I was contacted a few days later to setup a panel/presentation interview. I was told the presentation should be related to the job but the recruiter again couldn't answer specific questions about the position (ie, who the end user/customer was). The interview started with the presentation part of the interview. I was cutoff mid presentation and told that my presentation didn't exactly pertain to the position. I was then asked a series of situational/role playing questions. My answers were very similar to the "correct" answer given by the interviewers but I was criticized for not stating company policy. How am I suposed to know the company policies if I am not employed by the company?? This interview was frustrating and I felt like it was a complete waste of time. I don't even think a current employee would be able to "pass" the interview based on the answers they were looking for. I received a call from another recruiter a few weeks ago wanting to set up a phone interview for the same position. What a joke. Don't waste your time.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Ottawa, ON (Canada) (took 2 days)
First interview was with HR talked for about 30 minutes, projects that I had worked on and my contributions to them. Questions about solving conflicts between co-workers, types of managers I preferred.
2nd Interview was Technical interview
Couple basic questions about openGL, and a couple creative problems solving questions
Office seemed overworked, dull, not nearly the same environment as Waterloo campus.
