Research in Motion Scheduler Interview

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Cambridge, ON (Canada) (took 6 weeks)

I received an e-mail that asked me to confirm a time to talk to the recruiter. So I did.. on the day of, the recruiter e-mailed me and re-scheduled. Then a week later, I did the pre-screen with the recruiter and did well. She told me that she would get back to me. A couple weeks later she did and set up the 1:1 interview at the set location. I was interviewed by two sets of people and I thought I did well. I was told that I would get an answer within a couple weeks. So I waited 1 week, then 2 weeks, then 3 weeks until finally, I got an e-mail. In this e-mail, they said that they dropped the position as it was no longer required. I feel like I wasted an entire month on this process. Not very professional at all!
