Interviewed Aug 2011 in Irving, TX (took a day)
This was a co-op position. There was only a telephonic interview. The team lead conducted the interview. Was very friendly and helpful. Asked questions about basic circuits and a few behavioral questions. The offer was made 2 days later by the HR.

Interviewed May 2011 in Irving, TX (took 4+ weeks)
Received a call from an internal recruiter who offices in a different city and she phone screened me. I was then asked to go in for an onsite interview. The hiring manager and her direct report (the team) both met with me, and spent a long time to go over behavioral interview questions. Organized but relaxed atmosphere and the team meeting was nice. The next step was to meet with the director - but was informed that the position was frozen.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Irving, TX (took a day)
I have an interview for RIM in Irving,tx for the position of ervice Engineer Specialist. I had aphone interview with a recruiter which waspretty standard and easy just asking about my salary requirements, reviewed my resume, and asked what my tech skills were. He also asked about 2 or 3 behavioral question pertaining to handling difficult situations, and he asked of my goals. I received an offer for an in person interview the next day. Does anyone know what I should expect in the face to face interview. The interview will be with a team member? Thanks for any knowledge

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Irving, TX (took a day)
Phone Interview:
Internal recruiter phone interview was very thorough and professional.
Group / Panel Interview:
The questions asked were hypothetical without a right or wrong answer with little feedback as to whether or not the answer given was correct.
Panel did not appear to have adequate knowledge of the area of expertise they were interviewing for.
Interview was not very professional and the panel wasn't friendly or organized.
Didn't ask questions pertinent to the position.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Irving, TX (took 1 week)
I received an interview requesting a date, and time that I can speak to a recruiter in regards to the Partners Blackberry tech support position. I responded with 3 dates and 3 time slots that I would be available. I received a reply saying he did not have any available time slots available. I email him again with another time slot and it was confirmed. I began to have mixed thoughts about the way the online communications had gone so I missed his call on purpose! He emailed me again with wanting to reconfirm for another time. I confirmed. He called 15 mins past the normal open window but still took the call. Was a great connection with the recruiter and me with general questions and answers given and about the position and what it details. The phone screen ended positive with I will be getting an email from scheduling about confirming a group/panel face to face no later then Monday as my phone screen was on a Friday afternoon. Monday rolls, Tuesday rolls, and Wednesday rolls, and I finally emailed the recruiter and some how an email confirming a time was sent like after I sent a follow-up email. The face to face was the following Tuesday. with four other individuals. The main manager asked a series of questions then turned the floor over to a non-manager employee (regular support agent) the others sat, listen, and did some writing. Was so over this whole process. Did not feel any connection with any of the panel members. With only a few questions in, I began to drift from what was asked of me, and began to find a way of ending the interview as I just lost complete interest as there was no connection (in my eyes).I believe the feeling was mutual as no response from them but that's expected as it took someone I know that works there 3 months for a offer. I wasn't that needy. I just began to realize blackberry is on there way out as window's and Apple are way too advance/ahead of them.

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Irving, TX (took 2 weeks)
Standard HR questions on "core competencies" - how would others describe you, are you available to relocate, the dreaded salary requirements, question - she pushed me to give a number (she was typing my answers into her PC, so it was clearly a screening interview. Some review of my resume material, clarifying dates and times etc. Nothing close to a technical question. Nothing unexpected.

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Irving, TX (took 2+ months)
I was contacted by the HR rep for this position on 2nd week of Apr. Scheduled an on-site interview on 21st Apr. Interview was good, simple questions asked on Operating systems concepts. Interviewer was also very cool and kept me cool as well. Interview was for 30 min after which the interviewer offered me a chance to ask questions. After about 10 more mins, the interview was over and was also upto my satisfaction. May be i'll hear from them this week. Cant wait to join the team at RIM.
