Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Bangalore (India) Nov 2011 – Reviewed Nov 30, 2011

Interview Details – The initial round consisted of a MCQ sort of paper with more concentration on basic Java threads, DBMS, and little bit about Algorithms and puzzles and aptitude etc. It is fairly easy if u compare many other company 's first rounds. Then there were 2 rounds of interviews that were not elimination rounds, each of them technical and they were very, very keen about the Algorithms and Data structures the interviewee used. Then there were some tough puzzles and also some questions to which there seems to be no answer. They just wanted to check my thought process, i guess. Both the rounds were similar.

Interview Question – Given an XML file of the world, where the sub-nodes would be the countries, their sub-nodes being the States/Regions n leafs being the cities, and given 2 nodes, how would you find the most common sub-node to both the given nodes.
Eg:
1)
Node1- New Delhi
Node2-San Francisco
Output-Node for World
2)
Node 1-Beijing
Node 2-Shanghai
Output- Node for China(not world)

Negotiation Details – The internship was told to be compulsory. The company looks in a good developing stage, so if a fresher is planning to get into this company, he must be good at Data Structures and Algorithms. Computer Language used is not important.

Other Details - I applied through campus recruiting and the process took a day.
