Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 5 days)
I recently had my phone interview in which they ask you the standard questions: "Why RJ Reynolds?" "Why are you looking for a new position with a new company?" "What makes you a good fit for RJ Reynolds?" "Describe a time when you made a mistake with a consumer, how did you handle it, and what was the outcome?" "Describe a time when you had to get customers/clientts to trust you and how did you do that?"
The interviewer was very curt and cut straight to the point. There was no rapport building or anything, just "hi my name is ____ and I'm calling from RJ Reynolds. Why us?"
After that, they said that I'd hear back from them in the next week. Received an e-mail saying they were pursuing other candidates. I will continue looking for positions with this company.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 3 weeks)
First you apply online, if a recruiter likes your resume, you will schedule a phone interview with them. Phone interview was fairly simple, they describe the position and ask behavioral questions. If you make it through that step successfully, you will go on your Day on the Trade. You'll spend 4 hours with a TM in the area where you currently live, be sure to take notes. After that you will have to make a video profile; give an introduction of yourself and answer 5 questions. Then you will have a web cam interview with your recruiter, they will ask about your Day on the Trade experience, other than that the interview is very similar to the phone one, except for the fact that you're seeing each other. Finally, if you do well in every step of the process they will fly you out to wherever it is they're hosting the panel interviews in the country by that time. It will be 2 interviews, 45 minutes, each with 2 District Managers. They will present themselves as very laid back. Also, they might smoke to see how you react to that situation.
