Interviewed Sep 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
I am a recent graduate. Early in the summer Reynolds and Reynolds contacted me to start the interview process but after realizing I did not graduate until December, they put my resume back on file. They contacted me again in October and asked for a phone "interview" to answer a few questions. Questions like "Are you willing to relocate", or "This position may require using a company vehicle, do you have any previous citations". At the end of that "interview" they said they would get back via e-mail on whether or not they wanted to continue in the interview process. I received an e-mail saying nothing more than I was not a good fit for what they were looking for. I would have appreciated any type of reason for why.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2+ weeks)
I applied online through the company webisite against my better judgement. I was told in the automated email that they would contact me in 5 to 7 days if they wanted to move forward in the process. Days went by and I finally received an email to contact the recruiting center, which I did. I did a "phone interview" with the recruiting rep. The questions were the same as the ones answered in the email when I applied. After the 10-15 minutes conversation she set up a day for me to come in and test. I was also told I would need to complete the online application as well as the pre employment assessment(s). I researched this company throughly and even contemplated not going in for the test. I figured they accept many applicants just to fill a quote.
I went in anyway and was immediately put off. I walked to the receptionist desk and was not acknowledged. A sign directed me to the recruitment office. Once inside, the other receptionist smiled and gave me an EEOC form to complete before saying anything to me. Once I filled it out she asked me for my name and set me up to go the next room to begin the assessment.I walked into the room and saw I was one of a continuing stream of about 20 or so people who filed in and out of the room over the next hour. Everyone of us there for "assessments". I decided to just do it and get it over with. I am not strong in math and even though I found this uneccessary since I had not applied for a position that would require math, I tried my best.
After an hour I returned to the front desk, was asked a series of questions, and politely told that they would be in touch in the next few days. I already began preparing myself for the obligatory "we decided to go with other applicants, etc. etc." email. I haven't received it yet but I did test on a Friday so I figured it won't come until next week. One thing I did notice was that none of the other applicants were interviewed either. Not sure if this means anything but all in all my experience mirrored many others here.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Houston, TX (took 1 week)
The process is very long. They try to weed out people by their never ending tests. I personally don't think that those tests can determine your personality or your opinions. People will feel obligated to put certain responses to ensure the job. However, the people were nice and comforting. Just know, if you're applying to this job, you will be spending hours in front of a computer that will try to determine if your personality and opinions are suited for the company.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Houston, TX (took 5 weeks)
The initial contact was to set up assessments to be taken online. They were to be done as soon as possible. They were heavily math-based. I started late one night and ended up skipping the last section and a half. It was very extensive, 15 sections of 8 pages of questions each, on average.
Beyond this, there was a phone interview with the HR recruiter. It was mostly background and behavioral questions. Shortly afterwards, we scheduled another phone interview for the following week with someone in the marketing department. Additional behavioral questions and position-related questions. Yet another interview with yet another marketing administrator was scheduled. More of the same conversation points. A personal interview was later scheduled as a sort of meet and greet. Also at this time, there was yet another mathematical assessment to take (think SATs).
Within two weeks an offer came along.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 months)
Really conservative company, really conservative interview process. After applying online, I went through six rounds of phone interviews (akin to what most people seem to do in a day, rotating through various managers and HR professionals) and a skills test before being flown to Houston. Met with the VP of the department in what amounted to a ten-minute interview after completing (another) skills test, did a tour of the building - very metallic! very cold! - and was treated to lunch in their cafeteria. I think Reynolds and Reynolds gets a tough rep for being as conservative as they are - but they're upfront about their culture.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 days)
This is the Houston branch. Straight away, you walk in and you see a huge F160 race car. It was pretty neat but not what I was here for so I ignored it and went to the recruiting office. I had already taken a small personality and aptiude test at home prior to coming there, where they told me that I had to come in for more testing and an interview "if they had time." They really mean--If you pass the 2 round of tests. Apparently I did , and I got an interview. However, they kept on pushing the Marketing Analyst position on me and I really wouldn't mind taking it. So here I am... wanting to see what happens after that and what all that means

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
I received a call to come in for testing. When I did, they put me in a small room and I was tested on situations and intelligence. After, I was finished, they called me back for an interview with a supervisor for the position I was applying for. After I left the interview, they called me back about 2 weeks later telling me that I had received the position.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 months)
It took two months, It went well, I had phone interviews with them for about two months. They made me take tests, which were not easy, but attainable. They always had a "next step" after each phone interview. They flew me out to Houston, and then the next week sent me an impersonal email letting me know they are not offering me the position. Overall, good, but frustrating

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Houston, TX (took 3 weeks)
I went through the same process as everyone else on this site. sent in resume/cover letter, recieved automated response asking me to call them, called and spoke to a woman very briefly (very simple stuff, yes or no questions like do you smoke) then they tell you that they're going to send you an e-mail with a bunch of tests and they ask that you not use a calculator for the math section, because I knew that they have you take the test a second time on-site I figured that the test was not really interested in your math skills (I was applying for a writing position) but rather they wanted to see if you were responsible enough to follow directions without someone looking over your shoulder, so they email you a test prep sheet with a bunch of math questions to review before taking the test-- do not be fooled, these questions are easy compared to the questions that you will actually be asked on the test, and the math questions are timed on the test, and the math section comes at the end of the two hour test process, I did poorly on the math section, but aced the rest of the test. I got an email a couple days later that said they weren't going to take the process any further with me
