Interviewed Dec 2011 in Dayton, OH (took 6+ weeks)
I gave them my resume at a career fair. A few days later I was asked to fill out a questionnaire. A few days later I was emailed a link to the online personality, aptitude, and ethics tests. A few more days later I was asked to submit an online application. Then I got a phone call requesting a short Skype interview. The next week, after the Skype interview, I filled out a "long form application," which was three pages of more in depth personality questions and some other simple questions. After that they scheduled the on-site assessment, which was followed by two more interviews. Several weeks later the position was removed from the site and I had not received an offer.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Dayton, OH (took 3 weeks)
I had 4 different face-to-face interviews, starting with the recruiter people then moving from supervisor to director to the VP. If you get to the VP, you're usually in unless something comes back on your background check. They rarely waste his time on people they don't want to make a offer to. The offer didn't come at any point in this. It came by phone later from the recruiting people. They try to separate you from the people who can make the actual money decisions. That discourages you negotiating.

There basically wasn't any. I was hired at the depth of the recession. I pretty much had no choice but to accept the offer when it came, even though it was way low.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
