The interviewer asked few questions from my CV. However, he has shown his ignorance with in 5 minutes. That is, my skills and his skill profile are entirely different. He is not even able to understand the basics in my domain(Board bring up, BSP and low level device drivers). These people are using out sourced BSP and drivers and hence they are nearly novice in that region, which is nothing but my forte and that is what in my CV. At last, he told the JD and the CV is not matching. If that is the case then why they have called me for an interview.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 2 days)
I got into Robert Bosch business and engineering solutions limited as part of campus recruitment. The first round was a written test. It consisted of questions from electronics and computer science. It also consisted of questions from General aptitude and mathematics. Good technical skill is required to clear this round. If you score high on this round you will most certainly make it. Then there was a tech interview in which i was asked mainly on my project, digital electronics, programming and microcontrollers. After that there was the HR round. Basic communication skills can get you through this with ease.

Hi friends, I'm from EC Branch. Very happy to inform you that I got selected in RBEI :) .
The RBEI team from Coimbatore had come for the selection process. 8-9 colleges were pooled .
The selection procedure consisted of 3 rounds:
1. Written test
2.Technical interview
3. HR interview
First you are required to fill in your details in an OMR sheet provided by them.. this would take atleast 15 minutes. Be patient and fill it up carefully.
Written test : There would be separate papers for CS and (EC , EE) branch. 60 questions , 1 hour duration.
NEGATIVE MARKING WOULD BE THERE .
you have to mark your answers in another OMR sheet. You can use pencil for this, so that you can make any corrections (if necessary)
EC paper comprised of two sections : Aptitude and technical . Calci is not allowed
Aptitude : trivial RS Agarwal problems . Time is the critical factor.
Technical: Analog circuits (just basics- FET, BJT, Multi Vibrators etc )
Digtal Circuits, Basics of Network Theory, Micro processors and micro controllers. Lil bit of C !!
Do not worry abt aptitude just formulae based..
Result was introduced immediately after. out of 500 , about 60 (including me :) ) were selected for the next round.
Technical interview was held the next day :
Be thorough with your Projects. That is the key. Mostly it will be a 1:1 interview. Be confident and make sure to maintain good eye contact with the interviewer.
My interview lasted for about 40 minutes. I was questioned regarding my project . They also asked questions from microprocessors and communication. They mainly test the application level, so even if you don't know the answer, try to come up with some logical solutions and try to correlate them with real time examples.
25 got through this round.
Next was the HR round: this is merely a formality. The Usual ' Tell me about Yourself' kind of questions, your areas of interests etc . They asked a couple of technical questions also.
Hope this was useful info to you.
All the Best !!!!!!

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
it was very easy...you needed a cutoff of 70% & should have cleared all papers in the 1st attempt.1st round was aptitude.60 quesns 60 mins.25 quant and 35 quesns from ur branch(diff papers for difft branches)...no sectional cutoff...-ve marking was there....
if selected, next round is technical interview...they asked ur favourite subject...and quesns on that...study basics thoroughly...mainly subjects like microprocessors, microcontrollers,C basics etc..basics is the word.
and HR later....trust me,if u make it there u r almost in...
gud luck
