    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Robert Bosch India (Bangalore (India)) in July 2015.

    Interview

It was college recruitment for CS, ECE, EEE, Mech deptt. On the 27th July, we had Aptitude test. Which consisted of 35 technical questions, 20 Aptitude and 5 Verbal for total of 60 minutes. The technical questions were very good and normally based on basic knowledge of pointers, oops and basic c/c++. The aptitude questions were quite easy and almost everyone was able to solve it. Out of around 300 students, 150 were selected for Technical Round. For Computed Deptt, out of 90 students, 30 were selected for next round. The next day we were called for technical round, the interviewer who asked me was very friendly and asked questions starting from basics and all the way moving towards the applications. The questions were mainly asked from the resume (any project or extracurricular activities). The whole interview went for almost 1 and half hour and we were given a form to fill and then sit for the HR round. The HR round was comparatively quite short (around 10-15 mins). Finally amoung 30 of us, around 18 were selected from our deptt and total of 48 students from our college.

    Interview Questions

    • The technical round questions started with basic C/C++ and DBMS. The topics of C/C++ included OOPS concept, Classes and Objects and difference between structure and class. Small programs were asked to write and some queries to write and schema of databases to make. She then asked questions about OS, mainly synchronisation and interrupts. Questions about some Computer Architecture concepts and Microprocessor was asked (since it was Robert Bosch, one could expect them). But I dont think they would really evaluate for other topics as they want you to know your own field, but having the knowledge of older semester topics is always a plus point. The HR questions were the normally expected ones: why Bosch ? What you know about it? why should we chose you? You have any idea what you will do here in Bosch. Then he asked about my family background, my hobbies, what are my plans for future ? Future studies or not ? And then I was asked to leave. The technical round was also an elimination round as many people who could make to HR, werent selected. So take HR seriously too.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Since it was Campus Recruitment, there was no negotiation.
