I interviewed online - interviewed at Robert Bosch.

    Interview Details

I applied for another position on the Bosch career website but got an interview call for another position. I also liked the position I was invited for. I got response about my application around a month or more from the time of my application for the position. There was only one interview conducted at Bosch Thermotechnology, Lollar by one HR, one HR trainee and director of the department. Technical questions and discussions were interesting as it was area of my interest and some HR questions were tricky to answer but, in total, it was pleasant and open discussion interview.

    Application Details

I interviewed online. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Robert Bosch in February 2010.

    Interview Details

First I got a call from them inviting me over to HQ to have a face-to-face interview. I accepted and the interviewer e-mailed me the specifications of the interview, time, date, etc. I was in another city at the time so I had to take a train and several busies to get there. After I arrived in time, the interviewer met me at company's lobby and we had some small talk on the way to the interview. I was greeted by another person, they both worked at the Lab. They asked me some "tell me about yourself" and some other smaller chit chat questions but then they got to the specifics about the job. They asked me how fuel cells work, what do I know about them and they asked me to solve a small fuel cell proble.

    Interview Questions
    • They asked me how a proton exchange membrane fuell cell works. These fuel cells work with an graphite anode and catode, oxygen and hydrogen flow and there is a nafion membrane in the middle which allows for the proton exchange. An electric charge handles the power requirements and voltage changes as charge is increased/decreased. I drew a sketch and they liked it.   Answer Question
