Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 1 week)
The panel of interviews read began with my resume and began inquiring about various aspects that in their opinion were relevant to the various positions being offered. At first the panel of 6 mangers and 1 HR representative was intimidating, however the interview process went smoothly.

Interviewed Jun 2008 in Novi, MI (took 6+ weeks)
The initial process was handled by a an outsourced recruiter. The phone interview and then the scheduling of the interview was handled by this on site recruiter. I had two separate interviews. the first was with my direct manager and the second was with the department director. The third interview was waived with the VP due to travel schedule. Once selected, the internal HR handled the reference and background checks. There was no negotiation on the offer. Basically it was a take it or leave it scenario.
The hiring manager had no say in this aspect whatsoever.

Multiple phone interviews with a variety of different questions. I talked with a total of 3 different people; the first 2 were with a hiring company. Then I was asked to complete a difficult financial case study before talking to a manager at Bosch for the final phone interview.

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took 4 months)
They start out with an initial phone screening interview then gave me a case study to complete to test my skills. I made it to the next part which was another phone interview with a different department that asked me the same repetitive questions. They told me the process would take a month and it lasted several and they had very poor communication and follow through.

Good communications with HR. Sales Force interview was very casual, but the questions were very specific to real world/case situations.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Anderson, SC (took 2 weeks)
Three Bosch human resources employees made a campus visit to interview potential Co-Ops. The on-campus interview was an hour long and covered the basic engineering logic questions. Within a couple days, Bosch made call backs for an on-site company visit in Anderson, SC. They set us up to go on brief interviews with five different departments within Bosch. The interviewees were engineers in that particular department and they were the ones who made the hiring decision.

Interviewed May 2009 in Stuttgart (Germany) (took a day)
We had to prepare a self-presentation and a case study at home. At the interview we were asked to present our self and the solution we draw from the case study. A couple of company presentations followed.
The final stage was a group discussion by means of the case study.
Atmosphere was casual and friendly. "Competitors" were open, friendly and encouraging. No fights or bad mouthing. Nice experience.
My advice: take a deep breath, be yourself, say what you feel and do not be too shy.
