Interviewed Nov 2009 (took a day)
it was an accounting role so it started with me taking an excel test and then the inreview. the interview was straightforward and short, it was more of a chat perhaps to assess whether i would ft in. questions asked included likes and dislikes and how i spend leisure time. there were no technical questions as such.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Denver, CO (took 3 weeks)
The interview process was very very laid back given that the interviewer was a close friend of the person referring me. They were terrible at returning calls and so I had to make sure I followed up in person after the interview. This was a staffing company and they were finding me work in the accounting field. They were extremely picky and seemed to only want someone with 10 years experience. I have an MBA in with a concentration in accounting and 5 years work experience. Apparently that wasnt enough

Received and Declined Offer
|
Interviewed May 2009 (took 2 days)
I had my first interview with the recruiter, who assured me that the job would be a great match for what I was looking for. The recruiter gave me some interview tips on a printout and informed me he would set an appointment with the hiring company. Then I interviewed with the actual hiring company in a panel interview with three people. The job they described was totally different than what was explained to me by the recruiter. I believe the recruiter was just out to make his cut and did not listen to what I was looking for. During the interview I told them that the job was misrepresented to me, did not want to waste either of our time, cordially thanked them for their time and left.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Low pay, totally different job description than the recruiter gave me, no room for growth with the company.
