Interviewed Dec 2011 in Denver, CO (took a day)
Initial communication with the company was great and they made me feel they would get me a job. I was asked to come in for an inerview and to bring two copies of my resume. I was told that they had a position that suited me and that they would get back to me. Well they never got back to me with yeah or nay. I called them several times and i always felt like I was bothering them. I stopped calling.

I recieved an email telling me, that HR at RHI wanted to speak with me, ASAP. A quick phone interviewfilling-out my resume' very easy standard Q & A. Set an appointment show up at office glorified temp agency the pperwork was more involved than interview where repmainly discussed himself, and offered that best case scenario was being offered a permenant position at client no benefits, not W2 job.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Indianapolis, IN (took 5 days)
This company seemed unprofessional. They called to set up a phone interview and then took 3 days to actually set it up. I moved on from this step, and had the 1:1 interview. It was relatively easy, your average and basic interview questions; in the end I did not get the job, and they are still looking to fill this and other positions. I learned that the turn over at this company is frequent for many reasons. It was a blessing in disguise that they did not recognize the talent sitting in front of them.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Long Beach, CA (took 3 days)
I went through 3 interviews (division manager, branch manager, vp) and I found this office to be very aggressive in their recruiting tactics, which is a complete turn off to me. They bad mouth their competitors and think of themselves as "the PHD's" of staffing agencies.
A friend passed on my resume to them, thinking they were going to place me at a job. However, when they called, they actually wanted me to work there instead as a "recruiter." I pretty much spent 4 hours there in total over a span of 2 days listening to them talk about how great a company they are and why I should work for them. I found the hard sell to be a total turn off.
Reason for Declining
I declined because I didn't want to be micromanaged.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Ann Arbor, MI (took 4 weeks)
The first interview was with the Office Manager, 2nd with Regional Manager, and 3rd was back with the Office Manager doing mock cold calls to other people within the company. If you really want to work at this company make them know it. They keep sending you away to talk it over with your family, mostly because it is a very sales oriented environment and most people work really long hours. They want to be sure that the person they invest their time training is ready to work long hours and is very money driven. The moment you show any hesitation, your process will be ended. By the third interview, I was certain the company wasn't right for me. I delayed my follow up, and in turn received an e mail saying they decided to go in another direction with their search.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 4 weeks)
The first step of the hiring process was a phone screening done by a member of their HR department. She was cordial and asked the usual questions of what my qualifications were and why I wanted to apply to the job. After about 15 minutes, she said that she thought I would be a good candidate for the next phase of the interview process. She said that she would call within a few days to notify me of the next interview date. The first time she gave me an interview date and time, the day of the week and the calendar date were wrong. The second time, the time was wrong. I began to question their organization abilities. After several instances of playing phone tag and leaving voice mails, we ended up confirming the date.
The next phase was an in-person interview with three members of the group I was to join. The first lady asked typical interview questions and seemed very distracted, like she had more important things to do. When her portion was done, I offered to email her my portfolio. Her response was, "Don't bother. I honestly probably wouldn't even look at it." Her rather rude comment set me aback, but I composed myself for the next lady to come in and interview me.
She was the manager of the group and she was very pleasant. She asked me the exact same questions that the previous lady had asked. I quietly wondered to myself if these people were comparing notes to see if I gave consistent answers or perhaps they just don't have much experience interviewing people.
The third lady came in and gave me an ancient PC. She said there were three documents with spelling/grammatical errors and I had 30 minutes to correct as much of them as I could. While she explained this, she said that the computer was very old and that it was extremely slow. 25 minutes later, she still hadn't left the room because the test hadn't even loaded yet. When it finally loaded, it was so slow that even scrolling down the document would cause it to freeze.
Despite this, I was able to finish about 2/3 of the work. The third lady came back into the room and said that it didn't really matter how much of the document I finished, but that the test was just to see if I could spot inconsistencies in style, etc.
What should have been an hour and a half interview, ended up lasting 3 hours! Yes, part of it was due to severely outdated technology, but the rest is due to an alarming lack of organization. The third interviewer told me they would notify me of their decision within the week. Almost two weeks later, I called them back to follow up because I had yet to hear back from them. The HR coordinator told me that they were still trying to finalize their decisions. Yet another week later, I called again. This time, I left a message with them asking for a courtesy response. Several days later, they left me a voice mail saying they had gone forward with another client.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in San Ramon, CA (took 3 weeks)
Met with 5 people all from the recruiting dept. nothing really difficult. Questions were more about the on-boarding process (which is the one thing I have not done a lot off) and then the other question was how do i deal with conflict?

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Phoenix, AZ (took 3 days)
Reviewed my resume, asked pertinent questions, brought in an Accountemps staffing person. Interviewed for additional jobs with employers. Nothing yet. Not sure what is going to happen in the future but they were very professional, seemed to like my experience and education, and I've had follow up e-mails and phone calls since. Seems promising.
