Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 2 months)
First interview was face-to-face with the hiring manager and the current rep in the territory. Interview was formal and consisted of STAR questions. Make sure you relate your current and past experience with what the potential job duties are. Second interview was a phone interview with a specialty rep that I would be working with. That interview was casual and basically just went over my resume. Third interview was face-to-face with the area director. This was a difficult interview. He asked me "How do you manage your funnel?" and "How do you integrate strategic and conceptual selling into your sales presentation?" Final interview was phone conversation with the hiring manager and was casual.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Indianapolis, IN (took 2 days)
Adecco contacted me, telling me it was a "contract to hire" position. Adecco only did a cursory interview over the phone, but quickly decided I was a fit for the position. I interviewed with a director at Roche who placed a very high emphasis on "soft" skills, and then told me she wanted to bring me on board with the team as soon as possible. The interview was only an hour long and one-on-one. Fifteen minutes after the interview an offer was made. One note of caution: If Adecco brings you in for such an interview, don't make the mistake of calling the position "contract to hire" as this raised the interviewer's eyebrows.

Reason for Declining
The base pay was good, the Adecco benefits were OK. I think that this was a great opportunity in terms of an improvement over the work I'm currently doing and a good way to get my foot in the door at Roche. With the offer in hand, I looked at the trade of a 1hr+ commute each way and relocating to that side of Indy. I found that neither option was favorable for my family life, or I would have accepted.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 2 weeks)
There was an initial screening interview with the human resources consultant and followed by a panel interview with 2 people. The panel interview lasted for 45 minutes. The interviewers appear to have many experience in the field. The work seems to be very specialised (focused on specific tasks), which is expected for a big company.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 2 days)
The phone interview consisted of both personal and technical questions and took about 45 minutes. I have the impression that the interviewer was trying to understand the characteristics and personality of the candidate.
The face to face interview also consisted of two parts: personal skill and technical skill. On the technical skill section, the questions were very specific and the candidate was expected to answer as concise as possible. The interviewer asked for examples and solutions.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I thought that the interview for my position accurately reflected the job I am now doing, the questions were good, competence based but also with discussion and the interviewers seemed to care what kind of person I was as well as what my experience was. I would say that the interview was fairly easy, but only because I had done plenty of preparation.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 weeks)
There was one interview for this job. The interview had mostly behavioural questions (experience in past, my response and the outcome). The best way to answer the questions is to practice, practice and more practice. Prepare the question and ask them yourself before going to interview and do not be afraid to ask in interview if you are not sure about any question.
