Marketing Interview

I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Rockwell Automation in May 2014.

Interview Details – Applied online and was brought in to interview a week later. The actual interview was probably one of the shortest that I've ever had. It lasted about 15 minutes and all of the questions were read directly off of a piece of paper. Standard, typical interview questions. Very little interaction other than that. It felt like they already had who they wanted to hire but needed to interview another candidate. Emailed a week and two weeks later to inquire about the interview/position and never heard back.

I applied through college or university and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Rockwell Automation.

Interview Details – I first became interested in Rockwell at an event they held on my campus where I gave them my resume. A couple weeks later I received an email about setting up a phone interview. This was a pretty basic interview - just discussed my resume and their products/what they do at Rockwell. I then was contacted for an on-site interview which lasted about 3 hours. This consisted of two technical interviews, a tour, and lunch at their facility. The interviews weren't too difficult and mostly covered some basic data structures and other questions about object oriented programming.

Commercial Sales Specialist Interview

Commercial Sales Specialist
Columbia, MO

I applied through college or university and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Rockwell Automation.

Interview Details – Got the interview out of career services from my college. The first interview was on campus with the outside sales and inside sales supervisors. They seemed like very nice people and asked the usual HR questions... name a time when you had trouble working with people etc.. After the first round interview it took about a week for them to get back to me about a second round interview (also on campus) with their boss. He seemed like a nice person as well although a little uptight. Second round interview was essentially the same as the first with very similar questions, so I got the impression that it was just there to feel your personality out. The people that I interacted with though as a whole seemed a little uptight in my opinion almost like robots.

Interview Question – How do people describe you in a way you would agree with.... how do people describe you in a way you don't agree with and why.   Answer Question
