Ross Stores Floor Associate Interview

Posted Feb 14, 2013

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Amarillo, TX – Reviewed Feb 14, 2013

Interview Details – Submitted online interview over the weekend, was contacted that Monday for a group interview the next day. They just went from person to person asking a range of questions from past experience to ones that determined enthusiasm for the company and your dependability. I think I prefer the group interview to a one on one, it made me feel very confident and I was offered the job on the spot.

Interview Question – Being asked to give examples of doing certain things, just because it was a group interview and it put pressure on me to give a better answer than the last person. My advice is to not pay too much attention to the other people's answers because they had very different experience from me and listening to them just made me nervous. I was asked to rank my different personal qualifications from 1 to 10. I was torn between giving myself 10s or 8s to make me seem modest...   Answer Question
