Declined Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA May 2011 – Reviewed Sep 21, 2011
Interview Details – Company was very nice to work with. People seemed very professional and inviting. Easy to tell the management was capable. There was a required presentation, which worked well for the position they interviewed me for. Seemed to have a growing training program, and used behavioral style interview questions.
Interview Question – What would you do if on Go-Live day, your ride to the airport breaks down and you miss your flight. How do you handle your client/go live? Answer Question
Reason for Declining – I declined the offer based on my desire to find work that required little to no travel, however, the company did contact me to see what it would take to sway my decision.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA Sep 2009 – Reviewed Jul 8, 2010
Interview Details – The first interview was a phone interview conducted by an outside recruiter that the company uses. I was invited in for a 1:1 interview the following week. I met with 3 members of the sales and marketing team. Finally I interviewed the next week with the owners of the company and was extended an offer.
Interview Question – None. It was a fairly relaxed setting. I did not have any questions outside of the normal ones that threw me for a loop. Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Feb 2011 – Reviewed Mar 7, 2011
Interview Details – The recruiter this company works with for hiring was very thorough and professional and provided information in a timely manner and even followed up with feedback after the interview. The f2f interview consisted of meeting with vp of prof services. Meeting with this person was fairly thorough and casually structured and the person led with inquiries of background and experience; fairly status quo questions. The interview went poorly after this when I had to meet with two possible peers out of this satellite office. One was quite unprofessional even speaking about the propensity to joke around and tease fellow office personnel and how anyone hired needs to fit in and want to hang out with them, have beers and stuff. Then he rattled on as if he was on speed or something. The other person was so casual about the interview that he just asked wide open questions like "what do you want to know". Bottom line is, if you are about 25 years old and a dude or possibly a girl 30 or under, you might get an offer. In the end based on feedback from the recruiter the decision of the hiring manager was heavily influenced by these 2 dudes who are barely out of college. Also the office was cramped and very uninviting.
