The interview was an open, walk-in interview. You fill out a piece of paper and the one of the management personnel interviews you 1-on-1. They ask about an previous experiences, why you want to work there, etc. They give several short case scenarios and then interview is over.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 2 days)
Phone interview for an administrative assistant position in the main archaeology museum. Consisted of basic questions regarding prior work history, salary requirements, location, and knowledge of MS Office software. Lady on the phone was very nice and considerate. Lasted about 15 minutes overall, and heard back from them two days later.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in New Brunswick, NJ (took a day)
The interview was set up through email. She was nice and just wanted to get a feel for you and why you think you'd be a good tutor. I'm pretty sure the job is yours if you really want it. Be prepared to answer how you would handle some situations (such as what you would do if multiple students come in with questions). Honestly though, you can't go wrong. It's a quick interview with no follow up. It's simple and odds are you'll get the job working the hours that you want.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in New Brunswick, NJ (took a day)
The interview was blase. but the school is very bureaucratic and corrupt -from graduate students to faculty, it's all about who you know, and that trumps what you know. Also very political. High turnover of non-tenured instructors but tenured ones stay and teach long past the times when they contribute positively and usefully to the university community.

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Newark, NJ (took a day)
There is a panel interview so its normally 1:3 interview. Standard questions are asked like: why do you want this position, what makes you a good fit, etc. Then more personal questions are asked like: who is your hero and what are your personal aspirations in the company. After that there is a time where you can ask questions and it is imperative that you do so!
