I applied through college or university – interviewed at S&P Capital IQ in September 2012.

    Interview Details

the process started with the general aptitude test, which consisted of Quants, reasoning ( very easy), English. After clearing the test there is a small HR round which is basically taken to check the communication skills.

After the HR round there were 2 more rounds of written test which consists of business description, case study, financial awareness logical reasoning etc.

If the candidate clears both the rounds the final round is with the senior managers and some times director of the process too.

I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at S&P Capital IQ in March 2013.

    Interview Details

    1) College written exam- logical aptitude, quantitative maths, basic English.
    2) Office HR interview- lasted on an average minutes.
    3) Another written round- Heavy on financial knowledge, logical aptitude, Business GK.
    4) Manager round - Seemed like a repeat of second written round, with financial knowledge tested, with current affairs. Lasted 15-20 minutes.
    5) Finally the Director round, more of a formality. Lasted 10 minutes, discussed about my course and what I expect of the job.

I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at S&P Capital IQ in October 2013.

Well the interview process consists of 5 eliminating rounds. Round 1 is a written IQ test, duration is 30 mins and is pretty general. Thereafter Round 2 is HR round, that is highly unforeseen and leads to majority of eliminations, in my case close to 22 people were eliminated with only 3 making to the next round. Round 3 again is a written test of duration 90 mins. Again quite generic nothing specific. All these round take place on a single day. Thereafter you will be called if you are shortlisted for Round 4 which is basically a personal interview, wherein two people of manager rank will sore down your neck. And finally if go get further shortlisted there is the final Round 5 that is called the director's round which is the last hurdle before you are made an offer.
But be aware that many a times they simply land up hiring no one, hence its not certain that someone will get hired out of all that appear.

I applied through college or university – interviewed at S&P Capital IQ.

    Interview Details

Applied through campus hiring process. The first step was the aptitude test which was too easy but they eliminated people on the basis of statement of purpose that was another hidden section in the information about the employee.

The next step was the hr interview which was nothing but confidence testing round lasting for 3-5 minutes.

The third stage is the technical test where purely finance and logical questions are asked.

The fourth one is the final managers interview where the person is just tested on his convincing skill to do a boring job. Prepare for that.
