    Application Details

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at SAP.

    Interview Details

Process consisted of a 15-30 minute phone screening, 45 minute phone interview with talent acquisition manager, and then an in-person interview.

The initial phone screening was just to discuss your resume, qualifications, and interests in the program. Pretty smooth.

The second phone interview was a little more difficult. It consisted of another resume/qualifications conversation, but more in-depth questions were asked. Behavioral questions were also asked to understand and identify your possible fit with the company.

The in-person interview occurred at one of their offices. There was a panel style interview and another 1:1 interview. You were also asked to make a presentation to the panel before your interview began. Behavioral and Technical questions were asked based on your background, but it was not extremely difficult.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at SAP.

    Interview Details

Job post online and emailed the HR. If you have the right skill set, they will contact pretty quick.

The interview is very simply. Some directors might be hands-on, so he/she will ask you very technical questions. Be prepared you know what you said you know in the resume! Resume polishers won't find a spot in the organization.

    Interview Questions
    • Nothing unexpected. Prepare yourself. Again, know the skills and knowledge you put in the resume.   Answer Question

    Executive Assistant Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 5 weeksinterviewed at SAP in March 2013.

    Interview Details

Submitted application through the online portal and I was called to schedule an interview. The interview was 1:1 and discussed experience, future goals, expected performance, and team initiatives.

The paperwork took some time to process as there is some lead time between application to interview to job offer to orientation. There was some issue getting information from HR due to meeting time conflicts. Orientation is half a day long.

    Interview Questions
    • Most unexpected question was if I would be adaptive and could expand beyond the original role; did I want to be an assistant indefinitely, or use the experience on the team to get a new role within the company?   Answer Question
    • Interviewers will ask some questions around logic and problem solving, for instance: if there is a cannon on a hill, at which angle must it fire to hit the stone wall?   View Answer
    Negotiation Details
Prior to offer, a call is received from HR in which they explain your salary & bonus and you can, at this time, mention if you would like it to be adjusted. There is some wiggle room.
