Interviewed Dec 2011 in Newtown Square, PA (took 4 days)
I applied for a variety of positions online and got denied repeatedly (on a positive note, when SAP is done with you, they email you and tell you they're pursuing other candidates for a job - so you know when to move on).
Emailed University Recruiter. University Recruiter said to take a look at an spring internship (I had been looking for a full time position before that point). Phone interview next day, in person interview a couple days after, offer day after that.
Phone interview was fairly easy. I had more experience than the average candidate so this was largely experience review instead of behavioral. A couple behavioral questions were asked (e.g. "Why are you interested in working at SAP?" and it went so well I was told to expect a follow up for in person immediately.
Interview onsite was pleasant. Fantastic campus. Interviewed with my boss and boss' boss. Went over a lot of organizational structure. Here is where I got the behavioral questions (3 biggest strengths/weaknesses, etc.) and then we spoke about what the job was entailed. Thanked them, expressed my interest.
Called that night by recruiter, told to expect offer letter soon, spoke start dates, etc.... offer letter via email next day.

Negotiation Details
It's an internship. Hours were negotiatble- I wasn't able to make schedule adjustments because the internship was posted so late (they understood registration was done).
Pay is non-negotiable for interns. Based on your area and your class year (sophomore, junior, senior, etc.) you will get fixed hourly pay.
SAP has a terrible concept of headcount which makes trying to get an internship/jiob there as a student frustrating. Expect things to be last minute.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed May 2011 in Newtown, PA (took 2 days)
I have had several interviews with SAP before. A couple have been directly with SAP but more of the interviews have been through a contracting agency SAP uses.
SAP tends to prefer to hire on contractors rather than direct employees unless you have direct experience with a competing firm. They typically hire you on with the contractor and then put you up full time after 1-2 years.
The interview process is usually first with the recruiter for a typical "fit interview" . After that it's a couple of 1:1 interviews with your potential team members. And then from there on you receive an offer or not.
I didn't receive any unusual questions in any of my interviews there.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Newtown Square, PA (took 2 weeks)
I had worked at SAP previously for an internship and learned of this entry level position. I contacted the recruiter and was told to apply online. After applying I was e-mailed a few times about starting the interview process and then was called by the recruiter for a first interview. The first interview we went over my experiences then he asked pretty basic questions. Why did I choose my major. Name a time when you did this. He was very nice and the conversation went smoothly. He asked where else i was interviewing and how much salary I was looking to get. I balked on this question but I was able to learn that they do startat 50,000 for this position so if you do answer, I would say something around 55-60 thousand. This interview went well so i was told to take a personality test. It was 180 questions which asked awkward questions like, if you were waiting at a railroad for a train for too long would you get angry? or if you didnt like your food at the restaurant would you tell your waiter? After this a few weeks passed and then I was called and told they would be considering others for the position. I asked if I had done poorly on the personality test and he said that I had actually done really well, so till this day I am still not sure why I didnt get another interview.
