Engineering Interview

Engineering

I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at SES (Stirling Energy Systems) in February 2009.

Interview Details – Managers painted a very rosy picture for the startup company so that I thought it would have great future. It was a big disappointment later when they had to lay off most of workers including CEO and VPs in 2010.
No tough technical questions were asked. Apparently, their technical competence was not strong. They emphasized too much on teamwork (a way to obey the Irish style of unfair and poor management). Salary negotiation was smooth as they needed high quality people in a hurry.
