Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 3 weeks)
Initial Phone interview was with Director, Business Development. 1:1 was with same Director, and the Sr. Manager, Product Integrity of the retail client where this on-site position was located. Only interviewed with the two people. All three interviews were discussions, rather than questions directed at me. I asked questions of them as part of the free-flowing discussion. SGS described opportunities for growth and promotion and asked about certifications, and other skills and experiences on my resume that weren't germaine to the position interviewing for. The purpose was to consider my fit for future growth opportunities. All three interviews were low key. No tough, probing questions. No "trick" or brain-teaser questions.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 1 week)
The process consisted of 3 phone interviews (the hr recruiter, the hiring manager and the vp of sales) and 5 in-person interviews ( the hr recruiter, hr director, hiring manager, vp of sales and division president) at their corporate headquarters. All were cordial and very inquisitive as expected, but good give and take from both sides. I thought I aced the interviews, but was not offered the position.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 5 days)
I initially applied for a branch manager position. When I was contacted by the company's recruiter, I was interviewed by phone for that position for about an hour and was subsequently referred to the Regional VP, to whom I would report. I was called in for a 2 hour interview with this individual along with another regional manager. I was told that there was a company reorganization which created the positions of area managers, of which I was offered the position of Upper Inland Area Manager. Area Managers were responsible for subdivisions of Regions.
