I applied through college or university and the process took 5 days - interviewed at SKF India.

Interview Details – Campus interview is main source of recruitement. First round of campus is a written test similar to Management Entrance test but with some technical questions also.once you clear written test (Normal clearing score is 70%) then there is a workshop/discussion where you get a task along with a nominated team and you have to solve the task with the team. The task is normally a trick task where they look for certain soft skills, people management and leadership qualities.
Once you clear both of these then there is a technical interview round (after gap of 2-3 days) where they will check your sharpness as well as some of management skills. Once you clear this then you are almost 90% sure to get through. The last round is offer interview, where the top management person or panel of top management interviews you. On succesfully clearing this you get an offer, which you should read and sign then only.
thats is how the process works for campus recruitment.

Interview Question – Final interview with top management will have questions on your views and belief, most are tricky with no clear answer. like what do you think about Live-in relationship, what do you think about labor laws etc..   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – No Negotiation, they will offer you same as they announced before start of campus process. They normally offer same salary to all recruits for same year campus joinee. Year experience is not given much of weightage.

I applied through other source and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at SKF India in August 2010.

Interview Details – There is a written test having two sections: one is technical and the other is aptitude.
After qualifying written test, there is a group discussion on the basis of which, candidates are shortlisted for the interview process.
The first interview is with the manager level persons belonging to various departments and if shortlisted in that, the final interview is with senior management.

Interview Question – How are bearings made.
This can be a tricky questions for the freshers who have not seen how bearings are made.

Interview Details – consisted of a written round which followed by the interview of the shortlisted people and written exams technical was bit easy but the aptitude part was difficult as very less time was given for the questions so the aptitude was a bit tough.

Interview Question – how are bearings manufactured? and questions followed it.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – As i was a get , i didnt have any negotiation phase and the offer letter has been given on the spot

Interview Details – First they take my telephonic interview. it was nice. ask about my current work. salary and expectation. after 2 days they have select me in telephonic round and ask to come organisation for next round. next round was quite difficult. have to impress and prove my ability. and last round was simple. salary expectation and Date of Joining.
