Interviewed Sep 2010 (took a day)
I received my initial phone call about 4 days after submitting my application. A fairly thorough phone interview (45 minutes) was conducted, covering my related business experience. I was invited to a 1:1 interview with three individuals. All were very personable and the interview covered typical 'interview-type' questions. One question that was asked by two of the three interviewers was concerning my 'best professional success.' There were very few questions directly related to the job I would be doing, so I should have tried to bring that information forward more during the interview. I was comfortable throughout the process and was hoping to be hired or asked back for another interview. I felt the climate and people in the office reflected a place I would like to work. I was told there would be some feedback within a week. I waited 10 days and left an email message asking about the status of my interview - heard nothing. After three weeks, I contacted them again to see if any decision had been made. To this day (months later), I have heard nothing and see the job has been reposted. I understand the lack of response by companies after formal interviews is more common place now. I'm disappointed that a company I perceived to be highly reputable would not send a 'template rejection letter' just to provide the applicant with closure. I still feel this is an exceptional company to work for - but remain confused as to their lack of response.
