Interviewed Nov 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
Started with phone interview, which went very well.
In person interview was a different story:
- Interviewed with at least 4 different members of the group.
- Some individuals were clearly unprepared
- The ONE individual I expected to be prepared was Sr Manager. She was late, asked no questions that related to my skills or experience. Her most poignent question: "Tell me about a time you encountered difficulty in your life." Deep. Dished out a ridiculous HTML coding test and left.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in San Francisco, CA (took 1 week)
A friend internally submitted my resume for a job at Salesforce. A recruiter contacted me to better understand my qualifications. She "shopped" my resume and I spoke with a hiring manager. He had a very pointed question that caught me completely off-guard. Subsequently, I was informed in less than 24 hours that they had identified another candidate.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 3 months)
Multi round interview consisting of phone interviews, 1 on1 interviews with both colleagues and execs, and a presentation. Long, slow process... But got the impression that the barks very highland they want to make sure that the peop,e they hire cannot only do the job,but will bea cultural fit. This is an intense, demanding company.... And those that fit well will thrive and love it.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
I was contacted by a recruiter about this opportunity. After a week i have received
the schedule for phone interview. The interview was with the hiring manager. The questions were related to my current and previous projects, I explained in detail. Then few questions about basic java stuff (oops concepts). Then few questions about performance and memory leaks. The interviewer was very nice and helpful through the interview. He was very happy by the end of the interview and invited me for the onsite interview. Onsite interview was a java coding test and it was in san francisco. After few days of onsite coding test I have heard from the recruiter that they are not moving with my application to the next stage. Overall very positive experience and learned a lot.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in San Francisco, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Phone interview with recruiter. Very knowledgeable about SFDC, sales process, what they are looking for, etc. Called back and advised that they wanted to do a panel interview. Interviewed with two VP's f2f, went on to presentation portion of interview process. This is where it really got busy as the apparent goal is to keep you on your toes, and see who will look at what they are expecting and bail, or, just do it. Received info that was required to create a presentation. Role-play selling to execs at a company. The more you prepare/practice, the better. Seems that they wanted to see if you have a presence, can think on your feet, present the product, and ask for the sale. All in all not too bad, but initially, I admit to being a little overwhelmed by process. Meditating on it made it easy to actually do. if you believe in yourself and your abilities, the interview process should be no problem.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
I was interviewed 3 times for an internship position. They were technical and behavioral. I was also asked to write some basic Java code to prove my programming ability. The process seemed very streamlined and after each interview the recruiter quickly set up my next phone interview. The third interviewer seemed very relaxed with the interview. Although it was slightly frustrating to not get an offer after 3 interviews.
