Interviewed Jan 2012 in Carlsbad, CA (took a day)
I found this job on Craig's List, and emailed my resume. Within a couple days, I recieved a phone call, and was asked to come in for an interview. The Company has a nice office, and is apparently growing- I don't know if they have a formal human resource department- my interview was with one of the owners of the company. I arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled interview time, and could hear some people talking from a cluster of cubicles, but the environment seemed fairly calm. I only waited a few minutes, and Mike greeted me, apologizing that we might have to cut the interview short because he had a conference call scheduled. Before he asked me questions, he told me a bit about the company. I noticed that he had a print out of my resume with a bunch of notes on back. He asked me the typical line of questioning: What and where and when my previous experience was, as well as my strength and weakness. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes- I was super nervous (just in my nature to perform at a below average level for face to face interviews) but he was friendly. At the end I was told I would recieve a call the following week, I guess he meant if I got the job- because it wasn't until 2 weeks later that I recieved a call thanking me for applying, but another candidate had been selected.
