I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Sam's Club in February 2013.
Interview Details – They are fairly quick to give you a call back. You are called in for a primary interview and usually sat in the cafe or an office (if available). The questions are pretty general, similar to most other interviewing processes. If you seem to be a good candidate they will either schedule a secondary interview or conduct it immediately following your primary interview with a manager. You will have to have a drug test done which usually takes about a week to get back. And after that you will begin your training process.
Interview Question – Not a completely unexpected question, but sometimes difficult to answer if you don't have supervisory experience: "Tell me about a situation that you had a problem completing your work due to a distraction and how you managed the situation and finished your work." Answer Question
Negotiation Details – In my experience I didn't have to negotiate. They paid me well over minimum wage (the company bases your pay on experience).
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Sam's Club in February 2013.
Interview Details – the hiring process was odd, we did a group interview. This may have been becuase they were doing thier seasonal hiring at the time. In the interview there were about 8 applicants and myslef, we wereeach asked a question one at a time. The questions were very standard, some very easy others a bit more challenging. My question was what would you do if you were scheduled to work and yoyr car wouldn't start? Super easy!
Interview Question – nothing difficlut all pretty easy and standard. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – they had a standard pay rate, but because of my experience I was able to negotiate the max for the position.

Interview Details – Consist of 5 areas customer service, integrity, independence, team work, and dependability. Questions are based on terms and have two questions that they choose from. Questions are rated by needs improvement, below expectations, solid, above expectations, exceeds expectations. If hireable they will grab a manger right then.
Interview Question – it really depends on the person you interview with. some will just read off the paper and not be personable at all. some will ask "why you want to work for the company" "what do you have to off the company" etc. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – there's not negotiations. everything is based on work history and rate of pay for the job.
I applied online and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Sam's Club in January 2013.
Interview Details – I got a call about three months after applying online. I had a fairly easy interview with a supervisor for the department I was applying for, basic questions, Where do you see yourself in five years, Why do you want to work here, Tell us a time you had to use teamwork to accomplish a goal, etc. Then I had an interview with the Assistant Manager of the department I applied for. Again more of the same. A couple of days later I had an interview with the Club Manager which was more or less just inputting my info into the system and officially offering me the job so long as I passed the drug test, as the manager doesn't have time to interview everyone. Pretty much it.
Interview Question – None were to difficult, but if its your first interview or you have a tough time with interviews, I would practice. Look online for practice interview questions. They mostly don't want questions unanswered and will give you a moment to think if you ask for a moment. View Answer
Negotiation Details – They offered me a flat 9.00, they really don't budge, but if you start as a cart person and promote, you make less then someone hired at a cashier position. I was with the company for two years and was very good at what I did and was making 10 cents less then new hires that I was asked to train on register. Very demoralizing for employees like me to find that out.
