Marketing Manager Interview
I applied online. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics America.
I was contacted by recruiter and being set up for a phone interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager did not call at the scheduled time so the recruiter rescheduled a new time the following week. Guess what he did not call either. The bad experience was offset by the recruiter that is very prompt and professionalism. He was very apologetic and attempted to reschedule a new time with hiring manager. After two weeks of waiting, I was finally told the position has been put on hold. Despite having a good reputation of making great product, the Ridgefield Park office is very disorganized. They need to get their act together if they want to hiring the right people.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics America (Colorado Springs, CO) in August 2014.
Hiring went through east ridge staffing. After applying I heard from east ridge about a week later as a screening call then took another week to get the interview scheduled. When interviewing with the District Manager he didn't ask any questions relating to the position other than leadership or ask about prior experience. He was distracted the entire time and barely paying attention.

Phone interview to probe skills as related to the position and to highlight the skills needed for the role. The discussion went well and learned a lot about the job and the worksite. Interview planning was well done and times were hit making the process efficient and seamless.
