    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Samsung Group (Bangalore (India)) in September 2013.

    Interview

I got call from Samsung through employee referral. I was interviewed for C++ position

    First Round: Written Exam
Basic C++ questions , Please do prepare the basics. Every one needs to appear for this written exam who has experience less than 3 Years.

Second Round: Face to Face interview
    Basic questions about c++, threading,
why you want to leave your current company?
    explain your current profile.
One question I remember as count number of bits of a integer.
    All other questions were easy.

Third Round : Face to Face Interview
    Questions like define yourself?
some basic questions related to programming (very easy).
sort a array which contains only 0s and 1s in most efficient way.
    All other questions were easy.

After 1 week I got offer letter from Samsung. But after some time, a HR called me again and asked to visit samsung office to appear for online test. I was paniced a bit wondering why samsung is asking me to appear for another test. But dont panic guys this only for some internal process in which every employee of samsung should give this test. This will be some evaluation parameter for hikes in future but be sure it wont effect your offer letter.

Overall the interview process was easy. HR and interviewers are very friendly.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a dayinterviewed at Samsung Group (New Delhi (India)) in August 2013.

    Interview

It was a pretty easy process on campus. There was an HR and a technical round,
There was also a written test based on aptitude before that. The students were screened based on that test. The test was for half an hour and was pretty lengthy. Very few students crossed the cut off. The interview was simple compared to the test. The on campus procedure was pretty simple

    Interview

The hiring process gives more stress on programming abilities. Written test in C , C++ ,Java is conducted for candidates having less than 5 years of experience. Cutoff is now made 50% (earlier it was 40%).
After clearing written test, 2 or more rounds of interviews are conducted. Interviews are usually focused on the job requirement, programming and design patterns.
There can be multiple rounds of technical interviews with different teams so its important to be patient and give your best in each one of them.

    Interview

I have around 7 yrs of experience and was called for interview in month of July 2013. I reached on time and they has no room available to conduct interview. I was interviewed in the lobby area where people kept coming in and going. It was a technical round and had gone very well. In the end of my technical discussion the guy asked me for my current package and expected package which actually surprised me as these questions are always asked by HR only when you are through with your technical session with positive feedback and not the technical people. Though I was sure that I will get a call from samsung but I never got it. This is for the second time I observed when you share your salary details and expectations during technical sessions then higher chances are your technical feedback provided will be negative as you will not receive a call.
