Referral from friend. Total process took 2 months. 2 weeks for the phone interview. Questions are standard, short channel effects and breakdown mechanisms. 2 weeks later for full day interview. The first interviewer didn't show up. He showed up at the end, and pushed the everything one hour later. Extremely unprofessional. Took 1 more month before before results were given.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at SanDisk in March 2014.

    Interview Details

First round is on the phone, then typically you go in for an on-site and talk to several people. Pretty straightforward, nothing unexpected. No unexpected questions either, typical strength/weaknesses/behavioral/why should I hire you types. Some of them were really friendly and we pretty much had a normal conversation the whole time.

    Interview Questions
    • - Tell me something about yourself that isn't on your resume.
      - Tell me bout yourself.
      - What do you know about SanDisk?

    Application Details

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a dayinterviewed at SanDisk in May 2013.

    Interview Details

My interview was with two bumbling SanDisk employees who literally only took 20 minutes and pressured me into making a decision. They could not even tell me what my position tittle would be and mis classified job description on offer letter.

    Negotiation Details
The negotiation was horrible, i declined initial offer and countered. They countered with there initial offer, then i countered with a salary comparison for the job tittle and location. That was countered with there original offer yet again. I stood my ground for 3 weeks and they didn't budge, i accepted and now really regret taking the super low ball offer. I am now paid 52k for a job that should be making minimum 116k. Unethical.
