Interviewed Jun 2009 in Seattle, WA (took 6 weeks)
I was contacted by someone I had previously worked with. They submitted my name and resume to the hiring manager. I had a phone interview and then met with 2 area managers. Those interviews went well so I was asked to meet with 2 other area managers for a second round of interviews. I went through the standard background check and drug testing. The process from start to finish too approx. 6 weeks.
Negotiation Details
There was no negotiation involved. I would have pushed for the higher range.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took 2 days)
First had a phone interview with standard background and experience questions. Lasted about 30 minutes. Then had 1:1 interview with District Manager. Very professional, asked about my past pharma experience with emphasis on prior awards and accolades. Decided I did not want to go back to calling on PCP's which is what the position was for, and declined the 2nd interciew.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Malvern, PA (took a day)
I applied for this position on my University's job board. I was contacted within 2 days to come in for an on-site interview. Two people interviewed me, one was friendly and smiled at me in encouragement every time I answered the question and the other was of a stern demeanor. I was asked to go over my resume and discuss experience that was relevant to the position. Half hour into the interview, they probably made up their minds to hire me because the style of the interview changed from "tell me about this project in your resume" to "I think you will enjoy this ongoing project with our company because of your experience". After this, they explained the position and the company and gave me a tour of the facility. I received an offer within one week and I accepted.
