Interviewed with hiring manager over the phone. Interview was originally scheduled for 30 minutes, and we talked for over an hour so I thought it went very well and that I would be getting a face to face interview.
Never received a phone call back or response to my email thanking the hiring manager for their time. Weeks later received automated email indicating that the position had been filled.
I followed up with the hiring manager via email to get some feedback, but never received a response.

I emailed the HR University Recruiter every couple months from September until April. The HR department takes their time, and you need to constantly be checking with them. The HR department pays huge attention to how resumes look. Make sure yours is in top shape with a great objective at the top. This is crucial.

I applied for this position online first and then found out that one of school alumni works for the company. So she referred to HR and hiring manager. The company HR person contacted me right away and scheduled a phone interview in 2 days. HR person was nice, though.

Already work for company so process was probably streamlined. Standard interview questions and length of interview (about 40 minutes). Called back for a second interview. During that interview manager went to see if Director was available, he wasn't, they convened without me and decided to go with someone else. Called me back to give me feedback and areas to work on.

Great phone interviewer; spoke directly to the hiring manager, no HR people on the call. Spoke in detail about some job requirements, very detailed knowledge of SQL required on the spot as the questions were technical and generally somewhat challenging. The interview plan was good, with a good flow through topics.
