Interviewed Aug 2011 in Gurgaon, Haryana (India) (took a day)
I got a call from the recruiter, and he scheduled an F2F. At the interview location, I was given a pen, paper, bottled water and coffee. I was given a case study and was requested to design a system that would improve ABC company's processes. It also included making a project plan. I finished both in two hours. Interviewers went through my solution and the plan. There were two subsequent interviews, one technical and one managerial. The interviewers and the recruiter were very polite, made sure I was always in a positive mindset, and gave frequent feedback. I got the offer the very next day. Even after the offer, I received many phone calls from the recruiter and one of the interviewers for the orientation of the company, my job profile, growth plans etc. I had around 15-20 interviews in these 2-3 months of period with several other companies, but I have to admit, Sapient was the best amongst all in terms of manners, professionalism, scheduling and everything else. I wish them success and excellent future.

Interviewed May 2010 in Gurgaon, Haryana (India) (took a day)
To start with, there was an online test consisting of question of your skill set for which you have been invited
(mine was java/j2ee). Following which there is a design exercise. Then a panel takes an interview reviewing the design and questions are asked regarding the justification of your approach. Once that is cleared there is a managerial round in which there are questions related to the roles you have performed and challenges you have faced while being in those roles.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in New Delhi (India) (took a day)
I got the job offer via recruiting agencies. Once I confirmed my availability, HR contacted me on phone to understand my interest in the job. They gave me a overview of the job profile and also asked me about my experience. Though I am primarily asp.net profile, they were looking for experienced person in winforms. My word of advice to interviewees would be to stick to what you know rather than claiming what you do not know (which does come out in interview grilling sessions). I showed my eagerness to work in Winforms but at the same time also made it clear about my less experience in winForms. HR still was interested in having me interviewed and they setup a technical phone interview session which went for more than an hour. HR had provided some suggestions on what should I be preparing for the interview.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Gurgaon, Haryana (India) (took 4 days)
- Got e-mail from Sapient HR and i applied for the position
- She called me the next day and asked me about my project, exeperiance (30 minutes). During conversation I got to know that I probably do not have the required experiance. However, she told me that I should get interviewed
- After few days, I was asked to have an interview at their Gurgaon office
- The first round consisted of a Case Study wherein I was asked to write about the scope, assumptions, constraints, risks, staffing, testing strategy, etc (basically a QA Project Plan). The case study was for 75 minutes; however i took 90 minutes and no one really hurried me in completing it
- Then 1:1 interview happened. It went on for another 90 minutes. I was asked about almost everything related to the project plan and how I came up with that plan
- Once the round was over, the HR informed me that I cleared the technical round and there is another round which will happen some other time
- Although initially scheduled to be a 1:1 round, I managed to convince the HR to have the final management round over the telephone
- The telephonic round lasted about 45 minutes and again I was asked about my experiance and various real life scenarios were discussed.
Although the process went well all throughout, I was not offered the job due to lack of my experiance (in years).
