Interviewed Jan 2011 in Gurgaon, Haryana (India) (took 4 days)
- Got e-mail from Sapient HR and i applied for the position
- She called me the next day and asked me about my project, exeperiance (30 minutes). During conversation I got to know that I probably do not have the required experiance. However, she told me that I should get interviewed
- After few days, I was asked to have an interview at their Gurgaon office
- The first round consisted of a Case Study wherein I was asked to write about the scope, assumptions, constraints, risks, staffing, testing strategy, etc (basically a QA Project Plan). The case study was for 75 minutes; however i took 90 minutes and no one really hurried me in completing it
- Then 1:1 interview happened. It went on for another 90 minutes. I was asked about almost everything related to the project plan and how I came up with that plan
- Once the round was over, the HR informed me that I cleared the technical round and there is another round which will happen some other time
- Although initially scheduled to be a 1:1 round, I managed to convince the HR to have the final management round over the telephone
- The telephonic round lasted about 45 minutes and again I was asked about my experiance and various real life scenarios were discussed.
Although the process went well all throughout, I was not offered the job due to lack of my experiance (in years).

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Gurgaon, Haryana (India) (took 3 days)
Was smooth, there was a phone screen followed by online test. After this there was a one to one technical interview which centered around the technical test. This was followed by the HR interview where they checked leadership and program manager capabilities.

Interviewed May 2009 in Gurgaon, Haryana (India) (took 1 week)
The recruiters interview (they call it discussions) the candidate discussing about the candidate profile , past experience in detail also throwing light on company and the roles and responsibilities. In my case the recruiters were very professional and explained things nicely. The face to face interview is comprised of a design problem which can be little adventurous but if u do something and then explain what u have done clearly to the interviewer in the one on one interview following it , you will clear it. in my case it was telephonic disucission in detail about the design problem and other technology related questions. i had to wait for some time before recuiter came and tld me that i have cleared the interview. Then I had the non technical discussion a sort of behavioriol and role play type of interview. The iterview really dragged on the questions and it was a tough call to attend. But fortunately i cleared it and now am waiting for offer letter. I would say that they have awell defined process, recruiters were nice and explained the process nicely , and am looking forward to this offer.
